Stormhold

Stormhold is a server, providing unique semi-vanilla, community focused, survival multiplayer experience for people who like to hang out both in and outside of Minecraft and overall have fun without having to worry about griefers, toxicity, thefts and other unwanted people. The Idea Semi-Vanilla Sadly the upcoming updates show a tendency of making it harder and harder for us to create a lag-free experience using the default, fully vanilla server files. Thus we use a third party software called Paper Spigot. We highly modified it so it doesnt break features which are essential to some of us technical players. This also allows us to give cosmetic features to our kind donators, community members and stay completely play to win. Being semi-vanilla also allows us to prevent bad people from ruining the experience, which we will explain in the next point. Protection Using addons we can provide a safe experience for everyone. Its no secret that a small whitelist application will not stop people with an evil will to join us. So we have created addons which log certain actions which we can later roll back if something happens. We can also prevents thefts, duplications and so to keep the no-cheated item policy of ours. Since our server is whitelisted we dont have worry about bot attacks, spammers and relentless hackers. Community Focused Our main focus will always be the community. We would love to create a semi-big community where everyone is working together to achieve something truly unique such as massive buildings, contraptions, and overall to have fun together. We also want to hold in-game events, pvp and build competitions, discord nights, and a lot more Transparency Its essentials to be honest, open and communicative with the community, otherwise the whole idea is ruined. We try to involve everyone as much as possible. We have roles which anyone can achieve and have more insight informations about how we run and maintain the server. Updates Currently, this is the first public release of Stormhold. We have tons of plans for the future but testing is essentials. The best way to test everything is by letting people simply play. We are doing daily 3 backups incase anything game-breaking happens. Later we hope to release one big update each month. Join us There are two ways of doing that.
