Hello, and welcome to TorchMC. It is a small Minecraft server with the main focus of giving the player of an authentic Minecraft experience without the pressure of too many players looting everything and landscape being destroyed. Most big servers suffer from this problem and in all honesty it is very frustrating. Also currently hiring for staff, more information on discord. Minecraft version: 1.9-1.15.2 Server IP: torchmc.ddns.net There are two types of factions. First, there is earth factions, which is a recreation of the entirety of Earth (at a 1-1000 scale), with colonies in places like Greenland and Madagascar. Here you can settle in and have a very open world to explore. There are features like shops and auctions. If you have spare gold, you can buy dust, which is used to buy very powerful weapons and enchantments you couldn't find anywhere else like the Rush enchantment, which gives you speed when in combat. Earth factions does not have /wild because here the purpose is to explore the world, alone or with you faction. Then there is normal factions which does not need any explanation. A very cool aspect of the two factions is that when traveling between the two worlds, you keep all of your items, money and faction power. In theory you can have a faction base inside of Earth Factions and regular Factions. There is a map of the entire world (literally) with many parts remaining unexplored. If you zoom in on the map, you can see the blocks of the world. The link is at the very bottom of this post! If you do not like factions, there is the traditional Skyblock mode where you can expand your island and survive while being stranded in the middle of an endless void. At the moment there is a work in progress Bedwars minigame, but it is playable. This, in effect, means that some of the server's custom items cannot be used in the gamemode at the moment. In case you have an urge to play survival, you can apply for the TorchSMP world which you can access from spawn. This is a basic vanilla-survival experience you can share with your friends and even the server staff! In order to apply, you must go to the TorchMC Discord server and find the channel labeled "torch-smp-application". The reason you have to apply is because we don't want anyone to grief or do anything mischievous to ruin everyone else's experience. If you are looking to buy a rank, it is really easy and fast to do. They are also very affordable. You normally see ranks ranging from 5-200 dollars (U.S.) but here the top rank is only $10, which also comes with great benefits equalling the mentioned $200 ranks. EGG HUNT 2020: Find 20 eggs (there are 25 total) hidden through the main spawn, the Earth Factions spawn, the Factions spawn and the Arcade for a 33% discount in the store. The eggs are not too challenging to locate and are very fun to find in the process. Note: The store will migrate to the main website after the easter event is over.
