The Lands of Moravai

Moravai is aimed towards adding in elements of role-playing, adventure, exploration, and magic to Minecraft. Being a multiplayer server, of course Im also aiming to try to create a fun and friendly community to hang out with and even work together on various projects. That said, Im sure many have heard of Thaumcraft, and if not, feel free to check it out. Along those same lines, Im sure many will recognize mods like mcMMO, and ChestShop. The idea is craft a server, using these and many more mods and plugins, which will enable a bit of a different approach to the game. Also, I should mention that this is a PvE server. Ive been playing Minecraft for quite some time myself, and having not found a server that quite had what I was looking for, Ive decided to get my own server together. I have chosen each mod or plugin to fit a certain need. Towny is for both a self-serve anti-griefing system, and a monetary sink. MoneyDrop, on the other hand, causes mobs to drop money for the players, feeding into the economy. ChestShop allows players to exchange items in a safe, easy way. Thaumcraft adds on new content, and magic. Both dungeon mods add new areas to explore. AntiqueAtlas offers a nice map that is both fun and doesnt require holding a map out all the time D. CoreProtect offers further protection against griefing. PorteCoulissante, while a simple mod, allows the creation of portcullises. PetProtect can keep your pets all that much safer from friendly fire. MobProperties allows me to adjust monster stats, which is currently being used to increase mob health and decrease mob damage in order to slow down combat a bit. Many other mods, like PetProtect, Vault, and so forth offer more behind the scenes options.
